In Preveza, visitors can stroll through the city and explore important landmarks such as the ancient city of Nicopolis, founded in 31 BC, and its impressive museum. The city is also home to the Venetian forts of Agios Andreas, Agios Georgios, and Pantokratoras, as well as the cathedral of Agios Charalambos and the Venetian Clock Tower.
Other highlights include the ancient city of Cassope, the Necromanteion of Acheron, the mythological Gates of Hades, and the Monument of Zalongo.
Parga charms visitors with its island-like architecture, picturesque streets, and beautiful beaches, including Valtos, Lichnos, and Sarakiniko. Key attractions include the Venetian Castle of Parga, the Ottoman Castle in Anthoussa, and the Springs of the Acheron River. - Artolithia is a peaceful and unique beach, famous for its offshore rock formations and secluded atmosphere.
- Vrachos–Loutsa is one of the finest beaches between Preveza and Parga, featuring golden sand and shallow turquoise waters.

The gastronomy of Preveza blends the cuisines of Epirus and the Ionian Islands, featuring simple, flavorful dishes made with fresh vegetables, herbs, and seafood from the Ambracian Gulf. The historic center is full of picturesque taverns and fish restaurants serving traditional specialties.
Local delicacies include sardines, pedal cake (sun-dried grilled fish), celery seabream, savor fish, avgotaracho from the Ambracian Gulf, and ladopita. The region is also known for its olive oil, ouzo, tsipouro, and aromatic Malagousia wine. Every August, Preveza hosts the Sardine Festival.
In Lefkada, enjoy seaside taverns, dine in the charming town center, and try the island's dry salami, sausages, and ladopita. The island also hosts a summer gastronomy festival.
In Parga, restaurants with stunning terraces offer beautiful sunset views alongside traditional Greek and international cuisine.

The average temperature is 17.5 °C. With an average of 27 °C, August is the warmest month.
The lowest average temperatures in the year occur in January, when it is around 9 °C.
